First Exhibition of 2025

1st March – 19th April 2025

The Whitehouse Gallery in Kirkcudbright is thrilled to announce its upcoming spring exhibition ‘A Splash of Colour,’ showcasing a diverse array of artworks from both emerging and established artists. The exhibition will open on 1st March and run through to 19th April 2025.

An Artistic Celebration of Colour and Creativity

‘A Splash of Colour’ promises to be an uplifting exhibition featuring a wide range of artistic styles and mediums. From bold and vivid works to those with a gentler colour palette, each artwork reflects the unique vision and creativity of its creator. The exhibition aims to celebrate the beauty and emotional impact that colour can have in art, encouraging visitors to explore their own interpretations and connections.

Participating artists include Boo Mallinson, Charles Randak, Corine Ko, Dominique Cameron RSW, Erraid Gaskell, Frank Hayes, Giles Ward, Graham Evernden, Gwen Adair, Jane Couroussopoulos, Karen Stamper, Kerry Souter, Lesley Smith, Linda Irving, Liz Toole, Morag Lloyds, Paul Kirkwood, Tracey Paterson and Tricia Barna.

We also have brand new collections of ceramics from Helen Harrison, Lucy Wright, Sandie Cosens, Tony Laverick & Yvette Glaze. They will be joined by a new collection of Lynn Muir’s popular driftwood sculpture, glass birds and creatures by Elizabeth Welch and handmade cushions by Jo Gallant.

Exhibition Opening: We welcome you to join us.

We invite you to join us for the preview, on Saturday 1st March, opening from 11am-5pm.  Complementary refreshments will be on offer.
