About the Artist
These pieces are a new collection of work merging an illustrative style with a painterly style.
For many years I have felt I had two styles and that I had to keep them apart, but now I’m merging them together. Inspired by past sailing days around the western isles and exploring little islands I have sketchbooks and photographs and a wealth of memories that I now am turning to to develop into new work.
