About the Artist
Artist Liz Mackay grew up in Rothesay and Greenock before finally settling in Ayr with husband Ian, balancing her work as an artist and illustrator, along with raising a family. She painted from a young age and is a graduate of Glasgow School of Art where she studied from 1956-1959.
