Glowpot 12 – Margaret Johnson

Margaret uses a unique technique involving straw silk fibre to create her beautiful glass bowls. Each is delicately finished with gold or silver leaf. Her bespoke range features larger individual items including tall floor standing bottles and cylinders.

She studied Fine Art & Sculpture at Goldsmith’s College in London and taught for a number of years before starting to develop her own ideas. Her work explores the use of colour, texture and translucency.
