Susan is a Scottish landscape painter, who works mainly in oils, but also likes to experiment in mixed media.
She originally trained as a Landscape Architect at Edinburgh College of Art, and worked in that field for several years. She then had a break to look after her 3 children, and it was during this time that she was able to develop her lifelong love of painting and drawing.
Susan is drawn to the colours and patterns of the Scottish Landscape, particularly those found in the East and West Coast fishing villages, and in the bustling cityscapes of Edinburgh and Glasgow. This latest collection includes studies of Kirkcudbright from recent visits.
